While the XGIMIG Titan Noir Max is my top rated projector, at the MSRP of $5999 it’s difficult to recommend it over the Titan Noir Pro, which is 98% as good. This isn’t like the Valerion Pro 2 versus Max situation last year where you got extra features like lens shift and an iris. The Titan Noir Max and Titan Noir Pro have the exact same feature set, same lens, same remote, same everything except the Max is a little bit brighter which gives slightly brighter highlights and the edge in 3D performance. Overall, in person these two projectors were so incredibly similar that in a blind test I’m not sure I could easily pick out which was which.
